Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Frankly Data publishing tool (the “App”), operated by Larry Gordon in connection with the website larryfgordon.com, handles information. The App is a personal content-publishing tool: it lets its operator draft, publish, and syndicate their own posts to their own connected social accounts. It is not a consumer product and does not collect information from visitors of those social accounts.
Who this applies to
The App operates on behalf of its owner’s own accounts only. The only person who authenticates with the App and grants it access to a Threads or Instagram account is the account owner (Larry Gordon). The App does not onboard third-party users and does not access the private data of anyone other than the connecting account owner.
Information we access
When authorized by the account owner, the App accesses, through Meta’s Threads and Instagram APIs:
- Basic profile information for the connected account (such as account ID and username).
- The ability to publish content (text, images, and video) to the connected Threads profile on the owner’s behalf, and to cross-share that content to the owner’s linked Instagram account.
- Status and permalinks of posts the App creates, and aggregated post insights, used to confirm successful publishing and measure the owner’s own reach.
The App also processes the content the owner chooses to publish (the post text, images, and videos they create on larryfgordon.com).
How we use information
Information is used solely to:
- Publish and syndicate the owner’s own content to the owner’s own connected accounts.
- Confirm that posts were created successfully and retrieve their public links.
- Provide the owner with basic performance metrics for their own posts.
We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to publishing the owner’s own content. We do not sell or rent any data.
Consulting bookings and inquiries
When you book a call or submit the contact form, we store the details you provide (name, email, optional company, and your message) together with the marketing source that referred you (e.g. the campaign or channel), so we can respond to and manage your inquiry. This information is kept in Google Firestore, used only to handle consulting inquiries, and retained until it is no longer needed. To request its deletion, email me@larryfgordon.com.
Storage and security
Access tokens used to connect to Meta’s APIs are stored securely (in Google Cloud Secret Manager) and are used only to make authorized publishing requests. The App is hosted on Google Cloud Platform. Media files the owner uploads for publishing are stored in Google Cloud Storage so the social platforms can retrieve them, and may be removed once they are no longer needed.
Sharing with third parties
We do not share information with third parties except the service providers required to operate the App: Meta Platforms (to publish to Threads and Instagram, as directed by the account owner) and Google Cloud Platform (for hosting and storage). These providers process data only to provide their services. We comply with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
Data retention and deletion
The owner can revoke the App’s access at any time from their Instagram or Threads account settings (Apps and websites / Website permissions), which immediately stops the App’s access. To request deletion of any data associated with the App, contact me@larryfgordon.com and we will delete it promptly.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children and does not knowingly process data from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
